Jasmine Vanadore

Executive Director

Jasmine serves as the Executive Director for Bike Walk Greenville. As an Upstate SC native, she is committed to the Greater Greenville Community and believes in creating equitable access to healthy living. Prior to joining the BWG team, her professional experiences include work in nonprofits, education, government, and wellness. A PhD Candidate in the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management department at Clemson University, her research encompasses youth cycling, community recreation, and empowerment. She completed her Bachelors at the College of Charleston and Masters at the University of Denver. In her free time, she enjoys supporting local businesses, staying active, and spending time with her two pups, Butters and Marge-Erin.

Mary McGowan

Board Chair

Mary McGowan is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Greenville County Schools. She is a full-time bike commuter and enjoys bike travel during her time off. She has served as board chair of Bike Walk Greenville since January of 2020 and is passionate about making Greenville a more accessible and multi-modal place to live.

Carl Anderson

Carl Anderson is a retired surgeon and Greenville resident since 1988. He has been an avid cyclist since 1971; including bike commuting, touring, and recently bike packing. He is involved with several bicycle related organizations dedicated to increasing cycling access and safety to all in Greenville.

Mia Arter

Mia Arter

Treasurer

Mia helps nonprofit organizations with strategic planning and governance, particularly those addressing climate change. She serves on the board of a family foundation and co- founded a free bike rental program in college. Newly relocated to Travelers Rest, she can often be found on the Swamp Rabbit Trail with her husband and four young children piled onto their cargo bike. Mia is passionate about making our roads safe for its most vulnerable users.

Kat de la Cruz

Kat de la Cruz

Kat is a master bicycle technician and creative engineer, which shows in her love of bikes, Star Wars, and creating art out of trash and recycled goods. A graduate of Anderson University and Barnett Bicycle Institute, she is loves teaching and engaging with the community. She is passionate about keeping every bike rolling and ensuring accessibility to every one of her neighbors.

Stan Healy​

Stan Healy

Stan Healy has a DHA- Doctor of Health Administration and is President and CEO of Physicians Services Group. He has served on several local boards advocating for access to healthy living and adaptive sporting events. Stan has lived in Greenville since 1999 and loves his community.

Wayne Hollinger

Wayne Hollinger is a retired Pulmonary, Critical Care, Hospice and Palliative Care physician, resident of Greenville for over forty years, and a lifelong cyclist. He is a husband, father of 2 and grandfather of 5. He has served in many settings beyond health care. He has been an advocate for many organizations to improve the livability of Greenville such Greenville Spinners, Meals on Wheels, United Ministries and Upstate Forever.

Hank McCullough

Hank is the Senior Manager of Government and Community Relations at Piedmont Natural Gas. He has a long history of Board Experience including: Ten at the Top, Metropolitan Arts Council, South Carolina Technology Innovation Center, Greenville Spinners, USA Cycling, and many more. 

Frank Mansbach

Executive Director Emeritus

Frank Mansbach has volunteered as the Executive Director since the founding of Bike Walk Greenville in 2013. He is a retired Professional Engineer and Project Manager who loves living with his wife Sara 1/10 of a mile from the Swamp Rabbit Trail in downtown Greenville.

Lauren Prunkl

Lauren Prunkl is a transportation planner at Stantec consulting. She enjoys working with communities across the Carolinas on university mobility planning, active and public transportation projects, and safety studies. While a student and later staff at Furman University, Lauren was an active volunteer/intern with Village Wrench, ran Furman’s bike rental program, and worked alongside students to survey and map Greenlink’s bus stops. Here Lauren found her passion for transportation accessibility in Greenville County. Eager to engage in discussions about community engagement, transportation inequities, and intersections between transportation, housing, and health, Lauren moved to North Carolina to study urban planning at UNC Chapel Hill. After working in the transportation space in Charlotte, NC, Lauren is excited to be back living and working in Greenville.

Susi Smith

Susi has worked for nonprofits in Greenville for over 40 years. She recently retired from Communities in Schools of Greenville where she served as the CEO for the last 30 years. Susi  is an avid runner and cyclist and she is committed to helping promote safety and active living.
