Mary McGowan
Board Chair

Mary McGowan is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Greenville County Schools. She is a full-time bike commuter and enjoys bike travel during her time off. She has served as board chair of Bike Walk Greenville since January of 2020 and is passionate about making Greenville a more accessible and multi-modal place to live. 

John McBurney
Vice Chair

John McBurney has been riding bikes for over 50 years and is a daily bike commuter. As a physician he is passionate about the importance of active transportation in community health. He and his wife, Jill are long time residents of the upstate. 

Kayleigh Cleek
Secretary

Kayleigh Cleek is the Transit Planning Manager for Greenlink, the City of Greenville’s Public Transportation Department.  Kayleigh serves as the staff grant writer and she oversees all bus stop infrastructure and route planning. Prior to joining Greenlink, Kayleigh worked at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission as a Senior Government Services Specialist, providing planning and grant writing services to 31 counties and cities

Carl Anderson

Carl Anderson is a retired surgeon and Greenville resident since 1988. He has been an avid cyclist since 1971; including bike commuting, touring, and recently bike packing. He is involved with several bicycle related organizations dedicated to increasing cycling access and safety to all in Greenville.

Tim Hibbard  (Chair 2018-19) 

Tim Hibbard served as Bike Walk Greenville Board Chair from 2018-19.

Wayne Hollinger

Wayne Hollinger is a retired Pulmonary, Critical Care, Hospice and Palliative Care physician, resident of Greenville for over forty years, and a lifelong cyclist. He is a husband, father of 2 and grandfather of 5. He has served in many settings beyond health care. He has been an advocate for many organizations to improve the livability of Greenville such Greenville Spinners, Meals on Wheels, United Ministries and Upstate Forever.

Ty Houck

Ty Houck has been working in the parks and recreation field for over 30 years, including 12 years with the South Carolina State Park Service. Since 2007 Ty has overseen the development and multi-jurisdictional expansion of the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail network. This network is now over 22 miles long, connecting multiple communities, used by over half a million people annually, and providing economic resiliency across Greenville County.

Jessica Moss

Jessica Moss has served on the Bike Walk Greenville Board since 2019 and has been a longtime advocate for safe routes to schools for cyclists and pedestrians. She regularly volunteers and organizes programs to support youth and get them engaged outdoors through gardening, cycling and community service. You may see Jessica cycling to/from school daily in the West End or out on adventures on the trail with her two children, Finn and Sylvia, and her husband, Bryan.

Dom Nozzi

Dom Nozzi has worked academically and professionally in town and transportation planning for 40 years. He is a lifetime bicycle commuter, an avid reader, a prolific writer, and public speaker. He and his partner Maggie are world travelers who own a historic home in North Greenville.

John Rekers

After earning his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, John joined Milliken & Company, Spartanburg SC, and retired 33 years later as President Emeritus of global chemical businesses and operations. He was then founder, owner, and operator of The eBicycle Store, LLC, Greenville SC. He is currently retired to enjoy La Dolce Vita.

Frank Mansbach

Frank Mansbach has volunteered as the Executive Director since the founding of Bike Walk Greenville in 2013. He is a retired Professional Engineer and Project Manager who loves living with his wife Sara 1/10 of a mile from the Swamp Rabbit Trail in downtown Greenville.
